Yigal Mesika's TARANTULA is a fantastic item and it enables you to borrow a ring and have it spinning in the air as it floats away from you.  Then it continues its journey through space until the ring actually lands on a spectator's finger.  I showed this to my magical friend Edward Crawford and we both agreed that it looked very difficult to do but we were both wrong.  Edward practised the effect and he can do all that Yigal Mesika can do. 

It takes a while to learn to spin a ring which is on the end of a length of invisible thread but Edward has proved that if you want to put in some work you can do it.  And he demonstrated it to me.  The electric reel is concealed in a flesh coloured plastic device that clips on to the inside of your finger.  You can almost open your hand for a moment and the reel will not be seen. It is tiny but does a really big job.  In my opinion this is a fantastic reel and the trick is equally fantastic and really magical.  Check out the video.
