I saw this effect demonstrated by the owner of Magic Wagon and had not a single clue as to how it worked. The method is ingenious and very, very clever indeed and based on a principle developed by Robert Jackson.

This is a great item to show in your home and the craftsmanship is incredible. Like all good magic principles it is so simple yet unbelievable.

The card is shown and openly inserted into a small flat cabinet. Three little doors are removed and the cabinet is shown on both sides with the card in full view. Now, the middle section is pulled out to the side, visibly cutting the card into thirds! A finger or pencil is pushed completely through the empty space proving that the centre section is truly moved out of the way. The cabinet is then returned to its original condition and the card is removed and shown to be fully restored!

What really separates this version from all the others is the way that the effect is achieved. The cabinet is almost the exact size of a regular playing card which seems to make it impossible to perform the classic Zig Zag Illusion!
